What This Is

TradieSites is a website design and hosting service for trade businesses. We build and maintain professional websites on a monthly subscription basis. You pay £49 per month, and we handle the design, hosting, security, and basic updates.

What's Included

• Custom designed website (homepage, portfolio, about, contact pages)
• Mobile-friendly, responsive design
• Quote request form that sends enquiries to your email
• Basic SEO setup (page titles, descriptions, mobile optimization)
• SSL security certificate
• Fast hosting and regular backups
• 48-hour initial build time
• Small text changes (typos, phone numbers, address updates) at no extra cost

What's Not Included

• Domain name registration — you need to provide your own domain (e.g., yourname.co.uk) or we can help you get one for around £10-15 per year
• New pages or major design changes — these cost £50/hour with a 30-minute minimum
• Guaranteed search engine rankings, traffic, or leads — we set up SEO basics, but results depend on many factors outside our control
• Custom functionality beyond the standard features
• Ongoing content creation or copywriting beyond initial setup

Payment Terms

• Monthly subscription: £49 per month, paid in advance
• No setup fee or upfront costs
• Payment is taken automatically each month via the card on file
• If payment fails, we'll notify you. If payment isn't resolved within 7 days, your site will be suspended until payment is made
• Prices may change with 30 days' notice. If you don't agree to a price increase, you can cancel without penalty

Cancellation

• You can cancel anytime, for any reason, with no penalty
• No notice period required — cancel and your subscription ends at the end of your current billing period
• When you cancel, your site stays live until the end of your paid period, then goes offline
• We can export your content (text and images you provided) if you want to take it elsewhere
• The website design and code remain with us and do not transfer

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time with no penalty. Your website will remain live until the end of your current billing period. After cancellation, we can export your content if you wish to take it elsewhere.

What You Own

• You own your domain name (if you registered it yourself)
• You own all content you provide — text, photos, logos, business information
• You can request a copy of your content at any time
• The website design, code, and structure remain our intellectual property
• If you cancel, you keep your content but the website itself does not transfer

What We're Not Responsible For

• We are not responsible for any business losses, lost revenue, or missed opportunities
• We do not guarantee that your website will appear in search results, generate leads, or increase your business
• We are not responsible for downtime caused by third-party services (hosting providers, domain registrars, etc.) beyond our reasonable control
• We are not responsible for content you provide that infringes on others' rights
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Service Availability

We aim to keep your website online 99.9% of the time, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We'll do our best to resolve any issues quickly. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the new terms.
